HIV+ Woman Caught Breastfeeding Neighbour’s Baby

A Zimbabwean woman who breastfed a neighbour’s baby without her consent faces a possible two-year sentence for deliberately infecting another person with HIV after she tested positive.

39-year-old Annie Mpariwa appeared in court on Wednesday … the case was deferred to October 24 to allow a second HIV test to be performed on the toddler. The child’s initial results were negative. Mpariwa was arrested last week on charges of common nuisance and should the child test positive; the charge will be raised to “deliberately infecting another person with HIV”.
The mother of the 14-month-old baby said seeing her child being breastfed by her neighbour was traumatizing.

When she bows her head that way and shakes it vigorously with the word ‘nothing’ when you ask of her why she is so crestfallen, please be mindful of the fact that she is very worried. Be a gentleman for once: don’t keep asking what the problem is and just keep doing the little things she expects of you around the house. In time, she’ll snap out of her mood and you’ll be her man all over again. Her ‘nothing’ always connotes: “Be a man, Jack, before I deny you dinner”. ‘Nothing’ means ‘ everything is wrong’.

2) Her Silence Is Not Golden: If she is usually the chirpy, garrulous type and she goes five hours without saying a word around you, just know you just freaked her out. The only reason why she hasn’t kicked your arse is usually because she may come out worse off if it boils down to a physical match up. So, when she goes all quiet on you, think of all the ways you may have probably hurt her and apologise before she even reels out your offence. Sometimes, a better apology would be to help her out around the house or with the kids or increase the home financial allowance. She doesn’t expect you not to have noticed that the dwindling economy is taking its toll on domestic affairs.

Cheating Couple Disgraced Publicly In Benue State, Stripped Naked

According to reports, the couple (pictured above) were forced to walk Unclad on Thursday 19th September at Orokam, Obadigbo Local Government area of Benue State.

The woman is said to be the wife of a popular school proprietor in the area -the porpietor passed on Tuesday and barely two days after she was caught with another man.

After being caught, they were taken to the town’s oracle – oracle called “ALEKWU” which punishes married women who cheat on their husbands and also deters people from committing atrocities.

When Dalby, who owns Katie's Boogie Shoes Dance Academy in Harwich, England, told her students about her engagement over a year ago, she says they were superexcited and some were begging to be included in the wedding. 

"It just couldn't have been fair to choose two or three of them," Dalby told the Daily Mail. "So the only solution was to invite 74 of them-I didn't want to exclude anyone." She also asked her best friend, three sisters-in-law, a niece, and a cousin. "It made my day more special."

Hairy Dog Portrayed As African Lion In Chinese Zoo Exposed

A zoo in China has angered visitors by trying to pass off a hairy dog as a lion, Chinese state media reported.

A visitor, surnamed Liu, told the state-run Beijing Youth Daily she discovered the fraud when visiting a zoo in a park in Louhe, a city in the central province of Henan, with her son.

As they approached the cage marked "African lion," they were shocked to hear the beast inside emit a bark.

This is the dramatic moment home office investigators put a stop to a sham marriage just minutes before the bride and groom exchanged their vows.

Nigerian Chinedu Amadi arrived at Leicester Registry Office to marry a complete stranger - Hungarian national Szilvia Basco-Porkolab, who donned a traditional white wedding gown for the occasion.

But unbeknown to them Home Office investigators who were tipped off by a suspicious registrar  and lay in wait in a side room for the pair to arrive.

Drama In Edo: Teacher Can't Read Her Document

The verification of certificates of primary school teachers in Edo State ordered by Governor Adams Oshiomhole has started fishing out unworthy teachers, with the discovery of one on Tuesday, who could not read a sworn affidavit tendered as part of her credentials.

The teacher, Mrs. Augusta Odemwinge of Asologun Primary School, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of the state stuttered as she was asked to read what was written on her affidavit before the state governor.
Oshiomhole, who paid an unscheduled visit to the state Staff Training Centre, venue of the exercise, said “if you can’t read, what do you teach the pupils, what do you write on the board?”

The governor had on arrival at the centre, checked some of the teachers’ credentials and documents presented.

Soldiers Attack Policemen In Delta

PANDEMONIUM broke out, Monday, in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, as soldiers attacked and injured police officers from Delta State Police Command, who were on escort duty with the state Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Anthonia Ashiedu.

The soldiers beat a police corporal, who drove one of the police vehicles, to pulp for allegedly blaring siren in the premises of the Warri North Local Government Council, which is close to a military outpost.

The corporal fainted because of the severe beating and was rushed to hospital for medical attention.
At press time, junior police police officers were spoiling for a showdown with soldiers in the state, saying it has become a tradition for soldiers to attack police officers in the state without justifiable reason.
State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, confirmed to Vanguard when contacted, saying the soldiers accused the police officers of blaring siren inside the secretariat of the council.
